About the position

Perido is looking for a Social Media Manager on behalf of one of our clients within the electric car industry.
This position is based in Gothenburg.

Your daily tasks

You will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the overall marketing and business objectives.
Identify target audiences and tailor content to resonate with them.

Main responsibilities:

• Create engaging and shareable content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements
• Platform Management: Manage and maintain the organization's presence on various social media platforms
• Community Engagement: Foster and nurture a community of followers and fans
• Audience Analysis: Use analytics tools to track and analyze social media performance
• Campaign Execution: Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to increase brand awareness and engagement
• Influencer Collaboration: Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to extend the reach and credibility of the brand.
  Negotiate and manage relationships with influencers.
• Social Listening: Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, industry trends, and relevant conversations
• Crisis Management: Be prepared to respond to and manage any social media crises promptly and effectively
• Paid Social Media Advertising: Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to reach specific target audiences
• Brand Consistency: Ensure a consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all social media channels

Your characteristics

We are looking for a self-driven person who takes ownership of their work and is comfortable working independently.
You are a strong communicator with the ability to align and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
You have a creative mindset and a genuine interest in culture, trends, and content, combined with a structured way of working that enables you to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
You exercise sound judgement and are confident handling community interactions and sensitive topics in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Relevant university degree
• At least 2 years of experience from a similar position
• Strong communicator
• Networking and relationship-building
• Knowledge: social media platforms, audience behaviour, preferences, and demographics
• Content and creative — understanding what drives engagement and how to brief or produce content that performs.
• Analytics and performance — ability to read data, draw insights, and adjust strategy accordingly

Contract type and hours

Full-time consulting assignment until 2026-12-31.
Start 2026-07-01.
