Are you looking for a role that combines clinical and laboratory hematology while gaining experience in an English-speaking healthcare system?
On behalf of established hospitals and specialist departments across Ireland, we are seeking consultant hematologists for 12- or 24-month contracts, with the possibility of extension.
This opportunity is ideal for specialists who want to work across both clinical and laboratory hematology in a modern healthcare environment while gaining experience in hospitals with high clinical activity and strong multidisciplinary collaboration.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the diagnosis and treatment of both benign and malignant hematologic disorders, as well as hands-on experience in laboratory hematology.
About the role
As a consultant hematologist, you will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients with a wide range of hematologic conditions.
The role combines outpatient clinics, inpatient care, laboratory responsibilities, and close collaboration with colleagues across multiple specialties.
The position includes responsibilities within both clinical and laboratory hematology and is therefore well suited to candidates who enjoy a varied role spanning both areas of practice.
Many of the hospitals have university affiliations and active environments for research, teaching, and service development.
