Job Description
Supply Data & Analytics has the assignment to create value and enable business growth by bringing data from across IKEA together to gather actionable insights.
Data & Analytics is passionate about making data, analytics and insights easily findable and explainable for the many to enable better and faster decision-making.
We work closely with our business stakeholders and form product teams that deliver data-driven solutions for our coworkers.
We work in a modern multi cloud-based environment, and you will lead an engineering team, continuously developing and operating our data products and analytical capabilities.
You will be regularly involved in workshops with coworkers to harness modern data infrastructure efficiently and provide long-term solutions.
Supporting a complex organisation to realise the benefits that modern data engineering can bring is at the heart of the role.
As a Data Engineering Leader at IKEA, you will combine hands-on technical leadership with people leadership and stakeholder management.
You will drive the strategic direction of data engineering, lead and develop the team, and ensure high-quality, scalable data solutions that support business needs, and decision-making processes across Core Business Supply.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering Leader with strong technical expertise and proven people leadership skills.
You have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in data engineering, including significant experience leading and developing data engineering teams.
You possess deep knowledge of modern data platforms (Databricks, Microsoft Fabric), advanced data modelling techniques together with SQL, Python and PySpark.
The ideal applicant is a collaborative leader who takes ownership, builds strong cross-functional relationships, mentors and develops others, and loves sharing knowledge.
You are a curious problem solver with excellent communication skills who thrives in a dynamic global environment.
