You will shape the architecture behind an ambitious payments roadmap in a complex banking environment.
The role covers payment channels, the payments processing platform and reporting, with a strong focus on turning business needs into clear architectural direction.
You will work across strategic and detailed levels, from target and transition architectures to hands-on solution design together with product, analysis and development teams.

This is a role for you if you enjoy leading technical decisions, creating clarity in complex landscapes and influencing how modern payment solutions are designed and evolved.

• You will drive and facilitate architectural deliverables such as target architectures, transition architectures, architectural roadmaps, architectural runways and end-to-end flows.
• You will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Channel Owners and Development Teams on detailed solution design activities.
• You will guide technical decisions across payment channels, payments processing and reporting.
• You will present solution designs and architectural decisions to stakeholders at different levels, including audiences that do not need all technical details.
• You will help create direction in a large organization with many stakeholders and contribute where needed across the wider payments area.
• You will work in environments that combine traditional waterfall project structures with Scaled Agile ways of working.

• 9+ years’ experience as a Payments Solution Architect.
• Strong foundation in banking, financial services and payments products.
• Proven ability to define and align architectural deliverables such as target architectures, transition architectures, architectural roadmaps, architectural runways and end-to-end flows.
• Strong experience working in detailed solution design together with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Channel Owners and Development Teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, Azure or OpenShift, as well as DevOps.
• Experience managing diverse stakeholders in large organizations and navigating ambiguity.
• Experience working in both traditional waterfall Project Management and Scaled Agile environments.
• Fluent in English.
